Dr. Seuss was born on March 2nd in 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was educated at Dartmouth College. Seuss served in the Army. Dr. Seuss wrote more than 50 books for children. He drew unusual creatures in his books. When he was in the Army he made movies. His first book was rejected 64 times. He was an illustrator and cartoonist.
