Dr. Seuss was born on March 2nd in 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He went to college at Dartmouth College. He also attended college in England and France. Dr. Seuss wrote nearly 50 children’s books. During World War 2, Dr. Seuss illustrated books. The first book he wrote was rejected 64 times! Dr. Seuss was both an illustrator and cartoonist. He is still very famous today though he died in 1991.
