Chapter 2
A Dangerous Game
The day of the championship had finally rolled around, and Jerry and Garfield were ready. Millions of fans from around the world are tuning in to watch their match. Everyone is saying that this could be Garfield's last chance of winning another championship because of his age.

As the game starts, Jerry quickly takes the lead, taking almost all of Garfield’s pawns. Jerry stayed on the attack, taking Garfield’s queen, and cornering his King. Everyone thought Garfield was finished because he was cornered. Despite this, he kept fighting, doing anything he could not to lose. He started coming back, even taking some of Jerry’s pawns, but he was cornered again. This time there was no getting out of it, and Jerry won the match.
Jerry started celebrating with his fans while Garfield angrily walked outside. Garfield was outside hitting himself when Jerry tried to congratulate him on a good game. Garfield punched Jerry, knocking him over and sending his fans into a blistering rage. Garfield was grabbed by police and thrown into a police car.

While Jerry taunted Garfield as the police car was driving away. Garfield then breaks out of the car and runs at Jerry. The police then tase Garfield knocking him to the floor where they then handcuff him. Jerry is laughing at a helpless Garfield and telling the police to keep hurting him. While Garfield is being detained Jerry is calling him old, and saying that he will never win a chess world championship again. Chapter 3
Flat Tires
Jerry goes home unfazed by the events that took place. He tells his friends about the lunatick Garfield and how he hopes he never gets out of prison. A couple of months pass and Garfield finally gets out of prison.

Garfield, when he arrives home, puts on his signature dark trench coat, and tells Jerry that he is not going to stop until he beats him in the championship game. Determined, he goes back to his house for training. Instead of training, Jerry goes out partying with his friends and doesn’t care about training.
Garfield on the other hand uses Jerry taunting to motivate him. His goal is to prove everybody who said he was too old wrong, and to win another championship. After long countless hours of work, Garfield finally decides to go out to eat. In the middle of dinner at his favorite restaurant, Garfield sees Jerry. He tries to avoid Jerry but he starts taunting Garfield and showing off his championship ring.

Garfield decides that enough is enough and decides to get in his car and drive away without eating. He is driving home still very angry about the events that just occurred. He starts speeding down the highway, then he loses control of his car, and spins out crashing into a nearby tree. He gets out of the car and starts limping to the highway, trying to hitch-hike back to his house.
