Dear Child of Light,

A toxic friendship, poison to the soul,
A big bond that's built on lies and control,
Every single word, a venomous dart,
Piercing the heart and tearing it apart.

Sucking in energy like a black hole
Trust that was there, now shattered in pieces,
Every step forward, step towards abyss,
Where the darkness reigns, the soul is amiss.

Toxic friend, lord of manipulation,
Puppeteer pulls strings, no hesitation,
Their words like knives, cutting deep and so clean,
Leaving wounds that fester, never quite clean

And yet we cling to this toxic friendship,
Afraid of what we'll find beyond, become,
But the only way to heal and to grow,
Is to let go and let the friendship blow.

So learn and break free from this toxic tie,
And let your spirit once again free fly,
For toxic friendships are nothing but pain,
And in their absence, true growth can be gained.
