Science Notebook

This journal is set up using the 5E instructional framework. The NGSS Science and
Engineering principles served as a guide for its development.

Using this book
As students conduct their scientific investigation they can document the steps of the process in this book. Provide students scaffolding and access to the specific investigation or topic by modifying the book. You can copy, delete, or re-arrange the pages to suit your student's needs. Students will be motivated and engaged through choice and voice to reflect on their learning in many ways. As scientists work in collaboration, a lab group could use this notebook collaboratively.

To share this book with students, click Remix and a copy of this book will be added to the library of your choice.

You can also assign a book to your students so that everyone gets their own copay.
You can also add to your student's books a page or more at a time with the copy feature.

This can provide a scaffold to students who need executive functioning support or get overwhelmed when presented with a whole book at once.
