Arrival and Dismissal
Safety Considerations
· HAVE A PLAN: It is imperative that families
maintain a consistent plan for dismissal so that students know precisely what to do and teachers can be sure that all students go where they are expected. Students and staff struggle to maintain safety when dismissal plans change.
· CONSISTENCY: Only people listed on your child’s emergency card will be allowed to pick up your child. ID is required when picking up students.
· CONTACT INFORMATION: For reasons of illness, concern and safety, it
is imperative that we have the most current and accurate contact information available.
· PLAY DATES: We cannot honor plans for children to go home from school with friends for play dates. Please organize play date transportation outside of school for the safety of all our students.

Absences and Tardies
• If your child is going to be absent, please contact the teacher and let them know as soon as possible.
Please provide a reason as to why your child is absent so it can be marked correctly. We strongly discourage families to take extended absences outside of the District’s planned vacation times.
• If your child is tardy (arriving 9:00 or later), please park your car in a visitor parking spot and walk your child to the door so they can be checked in.
• DO NOT park in the designated fire lane.
