Arrival and Dismissal
Arrival - 8:45-9:00                  Dismissal - 3:15

The gates at both ends of the playground will open 8:35 and 3:00.
Thank you for respecting these times as early arrival in the AM or PM causes
traffic problems and decreased safety for our school community.
Arrival and Dismissal
Safety Considerations

· HAVE A PLAN:  It is imperative that families
maintain a consistent plan for dismissal so that students know precisely what to do and teachers can be sure that all students go where they are expected. Students and staff struggle to maintain safety when dismissal plans change.

· CONSISTENCY:  Only people listed on your child’s emergency card will be allowed to pick up your child. ID is required when picking up students.

· CONTACT INFORMATION:  For reasons of illness, concern and safety, it
is imperative that we have the most current and accurate contact information available.

· PLAY DATES:  We cannot honor plans for children to go home from school with friends for play dates.  Please organize play date transportation outside of school for the safety of all our students.

Car Drop-off Procedure

1. After 8:35, drive into the parking lot and stay to the right.

2. Follow the parking lot past the large bus canopy and around the back of the school past the trash bins and the playground.

3. Park your car in the designated area and wait for the school staff to come out at 8:45.

· Parents need to stay in the car when dropping off their child.

· Please say your good-byes and have your child ready to exit the car for 8:45.

4. When directed, pull your car up to a staff member, who will assist your student(s) exiting the car for safety purposes.

5. Exit the drop off area through the black gate and stay to the right.

6. Turn right at the stop sign and exit the school property.

As a safety precaution, we request drivers not use their cellphones during this time.
