The Corning-Painted Post Area School District is located in southeast Steuben County, New York and is approximately 234 square miles in size with 4,800 students. We consist of a high school, middle school, six elementary schools and the High School Learning Center. We are located in The Schuyler-Steuben-Chemung-Tioga-Allegany Board of Cooperative Educational Services (GST BOCES).

Wellness

Organize and share our own and our community’s current wellness practices.

a. Obtain and develop lists of current wellness practices and the “gaps” at the building, District and community level.

b. Organize and categorize resources in a platform so that all stakeholders can access it.

c. Share resource lists in a platform that is user friendly for students, families, and staff.

d. Investigate/research wellness programs to fill identified “gaps”.

e. Select programs to pilot at various levels.

f. Identify and train personnel in wellness program pilot.
