Differences Between Acid and Base
PH levels are different. ph = lower than 7, base above 7.
Acid Hydrogen ion leaves Base Hydroxide Ion.
The acid makes the Litmus paper red, and the base turns blue.
Acids have a sour taste while the bases have a bitter taste.
Salt and water are formed from the base reaction with acid.
The bases are more susceptible.
Acids are more soluble in water.
Acids are flammable and irritating.
