Walking the streets of coastal Croatia you can really feel the spirit of ancient times.
The Pula Arena is among the world's six largest surviving Roman arenas. Gladiator fights were also held there and in the Middle Ages, the Arena was used for knightly tournaments and fairs.
Today it provides special experinece for concerts and other cultural manifestations.
