Walking the streets of coastal Croatia you can really feel the spirit of ancient times.
The Pula Arena is among the world's six largest surviving Roman arenas. Gladiator fights were also held there and in the Middle Ages, the Arena was used for knightly tournaments and fairs.
Today it provides special experinece for concerts and other cultural manifestations.

Roman Forum in Zadar
Diocletian's Palace is an ancient palace built for the Roman emperor Diocletian which today forms about half the old town of Split.
Under Julius Ceasar, parts of Croatia became part of the Roman Empire and Zadar is the city full of roman architecture such as this Roman forum and Land City Gates

This is the Church of The Holy Cross known as the smallest cathedral in the world. It is only  8 meters long and 8 meters wide
The Walls of Ston are a series of defensive stone walls more than 7 kilometres long that surrounded and protected the city of Ston. They call it "Croatian Wall of China".
Dubrovnik City Walls are almost 2 kilometers long and have towers, fortresses, moats, and drawbridges. At some points they are up to 25 m high, and 4 – 6 m thick. It was also a perfect filming set for Game of Thrones
