SIMULATION
Simulation is a more structured form of roleplay. During simulations, scenarios are more complex and more adherent to real life. Moreover, students may perform other characters or play themselves.
There might be more formal “game rules” to follow and fewer decisions to make. Once the scenario is set by the instructor, the simulation usually takes a day to be completed.
CHUNK
Chunking activities involve breaking down complex texts into simpler bits that the students have to rephrase in their own words. Chunking helps students identifying key words and ideas, developing their ability to paraphrase, and it makes it easier for them to organize and summarize complex information.
PEER GENERATED MATERIAL
Students were asked to make questions to each other, and then answer and rate them. The purpose was to create new material suitable for learning and working together.
PHYSICAL REPRESENTATION
Facilitating the learning process by the use of body language and movements.
VISUAL THINKING
Visual thinking allows you to rebuild a topic from different points of view. The main advantage is that it creates a more inclusive learning environment.
