- Initial Teacher Training - working closely with KMT we offer a number of routes to enter the profession and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Appropriate Body- Appropriate body services for any Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction
- Early Career Framework - Providing new teachers with the support and guidance they need as they begin their teaching career.
- National Professional Qualifications - Offering full access to the entire suite of new NPQs in locations across Kent.
- Continuing Professional Development - Working in partnership with Leigh Academies Trust to provide a range of professional development opportunities for staff across Kent and Medway
For nearly 30 years, we have been successfully training teachers. Now KMT is one of the largest and most highly regarded teacher training providers in the South East. KMT is structured into five hubs: East Kent, Mid Kent, North Kent & London, West Kent & Sussex, and Primary. Within these hubs we work closely with hundreds of partner schools.We offer placements in urban and semi-rural settings, single-sex and co-educational schools, both wide ability and selective. Throughout the year, the delivery of central-based training has been supported through KMT’s strategic partnerships and expert colleagues across our partner schools.
We offer two main routes, with the opportunity for a Post Graduate Teacher Apprenticeship also available.

- Cost – £7,495
- Duration – 1 academic year
- Funding – Some subjects give you access to a bursary Chemistry, Computing, Maths, Physics, Biology, Design and Technology, Geography and Languages, Art and Design, Music, English and RE

- If you already have teaching experience you could be employed by a school as an unqualified teacher and receive full training while you earn.
