Welcome back to our pupils and a big 'hello' to the new families joining us. Firstly, thank you to our parents &amp; carers for ensuring that your child is prepared for the start of school. The children are a credit to you, looking smart and school ready. We have lots to look forward to this academic year. We will endeavour to keep you posted as regularly as we can.

We hope you found the class meetings useful but please don't hesitate to email via hello@manaccan.org if you need further information. We welcome Ed Timmons from DT Coaching who is our PE provider for this academic year. He has started his teaching this week and the feedback is extremely positive. You will have received information regarding the after-school club which commences next week. The beginning of the year is always a hectic one with lots of information, letters, dates etc coming your way. Please can we ask that you keep a close eye on your emails. Please also check your junk/spam folders as some emails have been sent to these. Many thanks as always &amp; here's to another fantastic school year where our children 'dream it, believe it &amp; achieve it'.

"Tapestry keeps you in touch with your child’s day wherever you are"

Tapestry is an easy-to-use and secure online learning journal that helps staff and families across Aspire academies celebrate their children’s learning and development in Nursery and Reception Class. As parents, the first day of handing over your child to the care of another can be an emotional time. As your child adjusts to experiences without you at their childminder, nursery, or school, parents continue to want to share in these times. Tapestry facilitates this by enabling a personal journal, or diary, to build over time. Photographs, videos and notes of special moments are not only recorded, but can be made available regularly and often immediately to you via your iPhone or Android App.

School lunches can be booked daily, weekly, monthly or termly on Parent Pay and cost £2.65 per child. If your child is in Year R, 1 or 2 they are entitled to Universal Free school Meals. Reporting Absences If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness, then please inform the office before 9am in the morning, and let us know why your child is going to be absent, and when you expect them to return. You may either phone the office on 01326 231431 and leave a message or alternatively send an email to hello@manaccan.org When reporting an absence, please leave a message on each day of your child's absence, telling us: - Your child's name -&nbsp;Class name/Year group - Why they are absent (Type of illness e.g sickness, migraine) - When you expect them to return

Domestic Abuse advise - First Light: 0300 777 4777 Support in your area You can walk into a local BOOTS pharmacy and ask for ‘ANI’ ( Say, “I’m asking for Annie”) or ask to access their ‘Safe Spaces’ where you will get support with domestic abuse. There will be a trained member of staff. You can also download and access the Bright Sky app safely. This will give you access to a directory of support agencies and help lines.

Notifying change of circumstances Please tell us of any changes to you or your child's personal details (i.e name, address, telephone numbers, emergency contact&nbsp;details, medical&nbsp;details, email address or relationship change). Certain changes may be updated directly via the Arbor Parent Portal, however if you have any difficulty please email the school office at: hello@manaccan.org or call 01326 231431.
