Signs of Autumn

We couldn't go on an Autumn Walk as it was VERY wet! But we had an Autumn hunt in our classroom and looked for pictures that represented signs of Autumn. We used our magic magnifying glasses to look closely and then recorded what we found. Here our some examples.

We went out to visit our class Ash tree to see if it was similar to Stanley's. We noticed that it was tall..taller than Jasmine, but it wasn't 'Grand'. Mrs Wolfarth spotted an older Ash tree, that was definitely 'grand'.
As a class we named the parts of the tree and talked about why each is important.

Green's greens
The Green dilemma drop told us a story all about food and how some foods are better for us and give us energy. The class then told Mrs W their favourite foods and we worked out if they were healthy or not.
